Things that get me going: word nerd!

I caugh myself being excited over a word quiz app I just found. Does it get any geekier?! Though I can't help it, I love it! This one is from Norstedts and in Swedish, but there are also apps in german, italian, french, spanish and of course english. It is fun to challenge myself and hopefully I also extend my vocabulary even further. Word geek it is.

Date night, 2012-07-01.

Dinner outside at Backstugan and then the movie "Moonlight kindom" at Gamla Filmstaden in Råsunda. We were so tired but it was nice to get out, even for the three hours that it lasted.

Swedish summer, part two. 2012-07-01

Saturday 2012-06-30, visiting the neighbours'.

Marie and I were trying to have some tea and conversation, but with Adrian and Oliver at full speed there was only fragmented conversations, but it was a joy to see the boys play. Where one of them went the other followed. So cute!

Swedish summer, part one.

Good thing the kid has proper attire for the weather! He is not bothered at all by all the raining, quite the contrary! He LOVES to play in every puddle of water he can find and possibly even roll around in them. I on the other hand had my "bank pyjamas" on and wasn't too happy carrying a soaking wet and utterly dirty child to the car. Cleaning mud from my garb isn't my favourite occupation, to say the least..

Midsummer 2012 on the island of Rödlöga (Stockholm archipelago).

Oh yes, I cannot restrain myself what so ever! Ergo the picture bonanza... We had a fantastic Midsummer's on Rödlöga at Fischiers'! It had all the necessary ingredients; fabulous weather, great smargasbord of a million kinds of herring, snaps (for those who weren't pregnant...), sauna and bathing in the sea. The next day was as bad as the other one was good. It didn't just rain, it poured down. Not so nice when you wake up in the morning and have to pee real bad and the only toilet is an outhouse approximately 60 meters from the house, but since it was kind of warm anyways I only jumped into my wellingtons in my sleepwear and that was that. It isn't too often I spend time in a place where there isn't running water in the house or a toilet, but it is kind of relaxing and it reminds me that life doesn't necessarily have to be so complicated to be good.
