Well no, of course not. Neither did I see any while I looked around at Karen Millen. To my defense I had spent two and a half hour running around in various shops in Stockholm with only aim to scout out the perfect 30-th birthdaypresent for Erik. I found a couple interesting pieces but couldn't decide so I decided to treat myself a little instead..

Guess what I have been doing today?

Yup. I was out shopping for a mens briefcase.

What a pretty dress can do.

All day I have had the feeling of being well dressed, comfortable in my skin and therefore even more happy with myself. Amazing what a new dress can do.. So don't tell me that shopping doesn't make me happy!

Stockholm is blazing hot, just got out of the chapel where Minka and Gustav got married. We are sitting in the sun, drinking wine and waiting for the party to begin.

After one and a half hour in the hairdressing salon I finally got rid of the red in my hair!

Midsummer in Langesund 2009.

We started the midsummer bash nice and easy with lunch..

Mr & Mrs Agerlund. They are expecting, so Hélène couldn't drink this time. She was in for a ride..

We continued the lunch outside..

The rosé was poured freely..

Of course there was some strawberry cake too to go with that wine!

When we were full, it was time to do some serious relaxing in the sun.

At the hairdresser's.

The fumes are intoxicating but this is just another thing one endures as a girl. With a wedding and other occasions coming up I need to look fine. Now I only miss a nice tan and muscle definition.. One thing at a time though!

I'm going to the Circus!

Yup, I am not kidding. I just got tickets for me and Nina to Britney Spears' concert here in Stockholm on July 14, and I am really looking forward to it too! It is supposed to be a great show. I know that I may be a little old for this, but I just couldn't care less. So Nina and I are going to rock out to "hit me baby one more time", very soon...

Today it was Erik's turn to make breakfast..

He went to the store to get fresh ciabattas and "stuffing". I am so full I can't even move..

Shopping at Ur & Penn

Just got back from Solna center where Erik were shopping parts to his computer and I for myself. I got this fun watch at Ur&Penn where they normally have reasonable prices and today it was even better with half price off! A great watch to a great price. The trip to Gräddö is canceled because Magnus' grandfather died last night, so for once Erik and I are going to have a quiet dinner for our selves tonight.

Finally breakfast!

Since Erik was more interested in mending his computer than making breakfast, I managed to get up and bake some scones to make up for the lack of bread in our household. There is nothing like freshly baked with tea for breakfast on a lazy Saturday!

Not so peachy today..

Those drinks from yesterday gave me a splitting head ache and right now there is almost nothing that can make me get out of bed. Ok, maybe a breakfast...

I am just a little bit tipsy but tonight was nice. Spent it with Erik's co-workers at Hotellet and some other place I don't remember what it's called. Ok, time to nap. Tomorrow we are going to Gräddö with Magnus and Melissa.

Their dog Gyöngyöm is also visiting and she keeps close to the table..

"Extra grandparents" Agnes & Zoltan are visiting and having dinner with us!

Erik is home and he came with flowers..

Exhausted!

One teeny tiny hour on the Orbitrek leaves me a total wreck. I am in such bad shape! Since I missed the class at the gym earlier when I was shopping, I had to make it up. Now I will scrape myself up from the floor, hit the shower and then go straight to bed!

2:nd wedding anniversary!

Time really flies! Two years have passed since that glorious summer day when Erik and I ran through Lund to get to our wedding in time. Unfortunately he is working abroad today, so we won't be able to celebrate until tomorrow. But celebrate we will! I think that one should embrace every opportunity there is to celebrate things, and things like this especially. Let's always be happy sweetie!

Shopping bonanza of today.

I found a great place where they sell italian shoes that are a collection of samples and therefore only carry limited sizes. Luckily for me the shoes fitted and I could bring home five pairs for only 700 sek. It was a bargain!

Mom knows that I love peonies and since she can't give me a couple IRL she decided to at least treat my eyes with this beautiful sight. Thank's mom! How I miss living in a house instead of an apartment..
