Taking time to smell the flowers..

I had a terrible migraine this weekend and on Monday morning I was still shaky, so I had a calm morning and a slow walk with Oli to kindergarten. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful morning and a imbibed it with all my senses. I felt truly blessed and genuinly happy with my own ray of sunshine sitting in his stroller, looking back at me.

Babysitting Saturday.

The two cousins got along very well and played together.
So fun to watch!

After dinner they watched "Emil i Lönneberga" (Astrid
Lindgren) on DVD. Well, at least for five seconds or so,
because Oliver was more interested in the player than the
movie. How fun to push all those buttons...

Little-Erik with his uncle Erik.
It went really well. I played for two hours with the boys and it was amazingly exhausting to chase them around the apartment while they laughed as hard as they could. The idea was to make them tired but instead I fell onto the couch totally wiped and they continued to ramble up until it was bedtime. They were so adorable together!

Feeling hatty..

I freeze quite often, so I tend to
wear a lot of caps and hats. This is
the latest addition to my collection.

"Eat, pray, love."

My sister surprised me by sending me
this book. She had read it herself and
liked the "feel good vibe" she got from
it and wanted to pass it on. So nice!

Lunch at Backstugan; aka a good way to kick off the weekend!

A visitor from K-town.

Monsieur Daniel came to visit and had dinner with us
this Wednesday. Such a nice thing to light up ones
week with!

Hungry guy...

On our way home from kindergarten. Oliver points to
everything and says "titta" (look) with great emphasis.

As soon as we came home, this is
where he went...

...opening the raisin box by himself..

..and eating. He doesn't like the food
they serve in kindergarten. Can you tell?

Sunday 2011-09-18, brunch at "Sirap" with the Leijon family.

It was difficult to get a table, but the american pancaces were totally worth it!

Saturday 2011-09-17, dinner at Hagis and Lisa's place!

Oliver got a birthday gift from Hagis
and Lisa.

Hagis with all the goodies they served!

Autumn: new haircolour and new jacket.

Sunday, 11/9 -2011.

Oliver was in a mood for a snack.
Therefore I found him in the kitchen
where he had opened the cupboard
by himself, taken out and opened the
dried prunes box and taken what he wanted.
I also found a half eaten prune on the floor..
After that I sat him down so that he could
snack away in peace and quiet.

I got my domestic goddess on after Oliver had gone
to bed and made apple pie and my favourite loaf
of bread with dried fruits and nuts.

First week in kindergarten.

Wohoo, sand is so much fun (still)!

Eating by himself and completely un-
mashed food is quite the readjustment..

Playtime outside everyday, in the morning and
afternoon, regardless of weather (not when more than
- 15 degrees Celsius though).

Yay, playing in puddles.. (mom thinks
yay for vinyl clothing).

Why sit on the sidelines when you can be in the center
of attention?

Biking baby!

This is our new transport to and from kindergarten. Oliver isn't exactly loving his helmet (he tries to take it off all the time) but it is necessary, so I keep on insisting on it and hoping that he will come around soon.
