Potty training!

Some more bed climbing.. 2013-04-06.

Erik and Oli took a nap and I took a snapshot..

A very-active-and-not-tired-at-all baby.

Oh so mischievous Oli..

This is what I call "the innocent look".

Oli's self portrait of his feet.

Oli's portrait of me.

Nap time...

Oli climbed into Gusti's bed and thought he would help him help fall asleep..

Juicing!

I love my new toy in the kitchen!

Annoyed!

Today I tried to take the bus to the city, but as usual it was already full with strollers, so I had to walk instead. Why is it so near to impossible to take the bus with a stroller in Stockholm?! You either have to have very sharp elbows or wait for the second or third bus to get the space you need. Bah! Anyway, I ended up having a nice hour long walk and talked myself into how thankful I was for that and found myself in a much better mood again when I had lunch with my former boss at SEB.

Gusti four months old! 2013-04-16

He rolled from belly to side just as he turned three months old, now he can flip from belly to back quite effortlessly (when he wants to, that is). He reaches conciously after things and grips them successfully. Everything that he grips goes into his mouth for a little degustation. He can hold his head and sit with a little assistance. He smiles, lauges and answer when spoken to and he knows when I call his name. He loves to be where the action is, otherwise he gets bored and lets you know that. Four months and already a very aware little person. My little sweetheart.

Easter in Langesund 2013.

The stillness is incredibly peaceful.
A great breakfast view!

There was the traditional lamb. Erik rejoyced; it's one of his
favourite dishes and since I'm not so big on it he rarely has
 it anymore.

Oliver found the Easter cake and I found
him halfway up in the bookshelves...

...then he found his first egg!

This is what my Easter bunny brought Oli;
a pedagogic toy. It is small plastic pieces that
look like two pluses and only your imagination
limit what you can build out of it. Oli made airplanes.

Grandmother Ingela and I try to guide Oliver to find his next egg.

Under the lamp perhaps? No?

On the floor?

HERE it is!

Oliver enjoys both contents of his eggs:
the second one was more traditionally
filled with sweets. Much appreciated as
you can see.

We painted some eggs. Very few, but still. I think the dappled
ones were the most beautiful and Oli made them all by himself.

My little family and I, out on a beautiful walk.

Ingela and Ernst.

Gusti and I soaked up some sun.

One of the first sailboats of the
season were spotted!

Mother's little helper!

Oli loves to help me in the kitchen and that apparently grows his appetite, because afterwards he ate panncakes for two.. (Funny fact; once upon a time the clothes belonged to my brother..).

Gusti's first passport!

Well, that was possibly the most unflattering picture ever taken of Gusti, but I guess that's how it is with passport pictures... (I had mine done too at the same time, with similar result I might add.)

Climbing the walls.. 2013-03-23.

This Sunday both Oli and I couldn't stand being inside all day, so we defied the severe cold and took a walk to Ulriksdals castle. There we made a pit stop for a cinnamon bun, some running and a steaming hot latte for me. That was enough to make me feel like we did something that day. Small things count too!
