Kiddie treats.

All the kids at Oscar's party recieved a little bag with raisins and a small book. The "Pixie" book actually gave me a serious flash back from my own childhood, I remember having a bunch of those. At home I tried to read for Oliver, but he was more interested in eating the book than listening to it, so I let him taste it and I could eat the raisins instead..

Oliver and Josefin were very curious of each other..

They are born two days apart and it was fun watching them communicate.

The birthday boy looked very dapper in his tails and mummy Nina matched him well.

Fondue dinner!

Frida and Mårten just got back from a very cool trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. They showed us the most amazing pictures of animals in the wild that they shot on their one week safari. It looked fantastic! I hope that I will go on a trip like that too, and soon! Anyways. They are newlyweds without children (yet) but they did a great job amusing Oliver and Manfred so that their parents could eat somewhat peacefully.

Yesterday: lunch in Solna center after shopping presents.

Today we are going to Oscar's birthday party and yesterday we had dinner at Frida and Mårten's place.

February 16-21, the weekend when mom visited.

One hand in his mouth isn't enough, both are required..

Flying is one of Oliver's favourite things to do.

Cuddling is one of my favourite things to do.. 

We tried out the Baby Björn we borrowed from
our neighbours for our trip to Miami. 

Oliver insisted on sitting up instead of laying down
while playing, so we found a solution for that too.

It is hard work to play. Just look at the amount of
concentration it takes!

a lot, mom wanted to show off Oliver to all the
people she knows. She is sooo proud of him!

my hair done. Mom and Oliver waited paitently for
three hours..

We were supposed to be a bigger party tonight but unforeseeable circumstances cut the numbers in half. In any case; the food was great as usual (who can turn down lobster?!) and so was the company. Erik and I have known Anders and Lisa since we all lived and studied in Lund and it almost felt like back in the day when we hung out at Grand hotel. Good times!

Saying goodbye for a week and a half..

Mom went home on Monday evening and she had a hard time leaving, but very soon we will have some time together again but this time in a far-far away place.. The Caribbeans!

It was freezing outside and we waited and waited. The first bus didn't come but luckily the second one did. You never know in this cold and all the snow. Public transportation is not what you would call reliable these days..

Well he is and he is smiling and talking to no one and everyone at the same time. In not too long, his eyelids will be too heavy for him. Adorable little mini-person!

He wants to sit up and play even though he can't do it by himself. The solution:

Erik is in Åre on a ski trip with his work. Mom keeps me and Oliver company in the meantime and we are having a great time! Today we walked in the snow, back and forth to Solna center. There we had lunch and also met up with Marta and Manfred for a while, then we shopped a little. The best thing of today was the new webcam mom gave me. Now we can have high def chats on Skype! :-)

After Adrian went to bed, we had a great evening with Marie and Christian. What a great idea to get together in the middle of the week!

What a lovely sunny day! I am out on a walk with Oliver and I am enjoying every step in the sun!

Exercise of today: window shopping.

Today I went to the outlet in Barkarby with Marie. We left our babies with their respective fathers and had four hours to ourselves which was great (although I missed my little tot when I phoned home and heard him "talk"). Unfortunately I didn't find one single thing for myself. I didn't even find a travel stroller for Oliver and that is something we really need. I have totally lost interest in shopping for myself. Maybe it is only the season? It will be nice when spring arrives and with that a lot of airy and fun clothes. In the meantime I will clean out my closet instead, it is already too full as it is.
