Gustaf's christening, Lidingö church 2013-01-26.

Only six weeks old and Gusti is already christened. We realized that we had to move fast if we wanted all our family members to be present. Everyone travels a lot so it was no small thing to find a date when everyone was available for this event. Finally we found ONE date that worked for everyone and jumped at it. Well it was either now or in September when my brother comes back from Somalia after fighting pirates for the Swedish army.. Anyhow, we are thankful and happy that it all worked out so well and that so many could show up although it was short notice.

Everyday things that make life easier, 2013-01-22.

Oli didn't want to stay in the
stroller when we went grocery
shopping. Good thing that there
were mini shopping carts so that
he could help me gather what we
needed.
(The sun hat wasn't my idea, Oli
insisted on it...)

Mr Cuteness chillaxes!
Gusti loves his babysitter. He can
observe what goes on around him
and be where the action is.

The BabyBjörn sling is invaluable
when something needs to be done
and Gusti isn't happy anymore in
the babysitter .

Sickos.. 2013-01-17

We just don't seem to be able to shake off the germs! We are all affected more or less. Oliver had a fever so he stayed at home with me. Erik and Oliver stayed in bed over the weekend and watched "Madagascar" a couple of hundreds of times. They dozed off from time to time...

New double stroller!

What better to test drive than in a snow blizzard? Then you know how it behaves in the worst of conditions...   The two following weeks I took the car to daycare. The stroller was actually fabulous, it was only I who was too lazy to take the exhausting walk. What kind of stroller you might ask? A Babyjogger City Mini Double 2013. I strongly recommend it!

2013-01-16, Gusti is one month old!

How I spent the first two weeks of January, 2013...

Body check; two weeks after giving birth to baby nr 2. 2013-01-01.

So yeah, I have a loooong way to go before I am Beach 2013 ready, but up until this point I only vegged out on the couch, ate everything that came in my way and kept me awake through the kicks from candy. Now to the numbers. I started my pregnancy on 55 kg, gained totally 13 kg and thus weighed 68 kg when I gave birth. I lost 5 kg just by giving birth and another kg in the two following weeks just because I breastfed. For two weeks I used a "Belly Bandit" (www.bellybandit.com) to keep my posture somewhat erect and to help my muscles find their way back. I will, as soon as I am motivated enough, get to work and shake off all this excess fat and be my hot self again. B-) To be continued...
