Lovely Oli!

He loves his furry toys!

I finally found a reasonably priced Stokke Tripp
Trapp chair for Oliver, so I rushed off last Sunday
and bought it. Now Oliver can climb up himself
and sit with the rest of the family at the table.

Bohemian brunch at Sjögrens' 2012-02-12.

Frida, also the birthday girl of the day, soon to
give birth as well.. (two days later as it turned out).

An INCREDIBLE brunch made by Marta after only three hours
of sleep. Amazing.

A night out with the girls... 2012-02-11

It had been ages since I had a proper night out so this time I went all in and had a blast! I am very much an "all or nothing" girl so that made sense to me. Anyway, I met up with Marta and Mai and we kicked off the night with a drink at East. We then proceeded to Hotellet where dinner, drinks and all sorts of interesting discussions awaited. I had my usual favourite to eat; steak tartar. After a long dinner we went on to have one drink at Vassa Eggen and were utterly surprised when they closed the place already at two. What to do? We picked out a direction and just walked until we found ourselves outside another club. Since neither of us wanted to wait in line, we just stood there and wondered what to do or where to go next, but before we knew it we got "adopted" by some guys and swept past the dreaded que and up to some bar (V I was told afterwards). Then on to the next bar, White room but at half past three we agreed enough was enough since at least Marta and I knew that there would be no mercy in the morning when our kids would wake up. So we went home. It was a small miracle (mixed with Red Bull and vodka) that we were able to stay up for so long as we did. It was a perfect night out!

"Nama & Papapa" visiting, 27-29 Jan. 2012.

Oliver got to stay up late just so he could
greet his grandmother and grandfather. He
could barely stay awake though he tried
hard since he got to watch his favourite cartoon
(Bamse). When "Nama and Papapa" (he
named them himself) arrived, he was overjoyed!

Papapa and Nama couldn't resist bringing
presents for Oli this time either..

Someone got a new jacket and with it on, he
thought it was his cue to go outside, since that
is what we normally do...

Some help here? He actually didn't get any
help but managed to open the door anyway!

Just after Nama had cut Oli's hair.
A good cuddle is never wrong!

My one big weekness; sweets. And not just any
sweets but this cake from Skåne called Spettkaka
that mom and dad brought. It is sooooo good!
I ate almost all of it myself. I am not kidding
(unfortunately)!  I ignored studying for a night
and watched a movie with the others after a lovely
Saturday dinner at home.

Playing in the Mulle Meck-park in Järvastaden. It was
so cute and we all enjoyed ourselves. Even Catrin came
out and joined us.

"Lost" in a maze..

So many things to climb up and into and discover
 new things..

Ehm... riding a carousel, not quite for someone my
 size perhaps..

Well, I wasn't alone... hehe..

Trying every slide!

Caught by Mulle Meck..

After our time in the park in the snow, I made pancakes.
Oliver had three and a banana, everyone else had one or
two.. Earlier today (Sunday) I also had time to study. It has
been a productive, fun and wonderful weekend!

Random pics, 15-23 Jan. 2012.

This is how a typical weekend looks like for me at the moment. A lot of family-time and some studying. If only the weekends were longer, because my weekdays just don't seem to be able to fit everything that needs to be done and what I want to do. I have had a cold for a month now and it doesn't seem to give up anytime soon and I really, REALLY need my energy levels back at 100% with my new job and everything. I want to perform and to do that well, and it is really frustrating to be this tired. I need to get some excercise as well but whith my cold and all it is really a catch 22. Ok, enough with excuses, on with what I want to do anyways!
