At the "barber"..

With hair like that, you need to tame
it from time to time, even though a
certain little someone is very sceptical
of the trimmer..

...but after getting acquainted with
the thingy that made such a noise,
it wasn't too bad.

Well I guess he'd better start early to take
care of himself! I found Oli in my bed
where he had tucked himself in and found
my Nivea jar and did what he likes to do
most; smear stuff onto himself. I sat beside
him and couldn't help laughing, then he
slapped the rest of the content of the jar,
very gently and generously, onto my face...

New hobby no 2!

My first lesson, in snow... 

Surprisingly, it went really well!

My collegue Sandra, who suggested
that we should take golf lessons,
something I have thought about doing
for a long time (six years to be exact).
Better late than never! 

When I was younger I had my own hobbies. I played the piano and danced ballet, but nowadays I don't do so much just for my own sake. Since Erik and I went to Gloria Golf Resort in Belek Turkey in 2006 and I took my very first golf lesson, I have wanted to be able to walk a round myself, but without the experience that wasn't an option. Today I took my first step towards doing just that.

Ice carving. There wasn't very much
thinking outside the box, but maybe
bankers forte isn't that kind of
creativity?

The conference were rounded off
with a funny performance.

My collegue Carin and I were lucky enough to share a suite
together. Jackpot since we both have small children and get
the need you have for sleep.. 

Not too shabby! :) We even had a
bubble bath which I utilized after the
party and before bed, around two in
the morning.. But hey, I only have a
shower at home so I jump at every
opportunity to take a long hot bath!

Friday the 13-th...

I started off the day by leaving Oli at his kindergarten for the first time this week. Unfortunately he got false croup during easter so we even had to bring him to the emergency room. We thought he was ok but after one hour at work I received a call from his daycare that he had puked while playing outside, so I had to drop everything and rush back to get him since Erik had a work shop and couldn't get away. I am sooo tired and done with all these virus infections that Oli has collected and passed on since starting at kindergarten. I REALLY hope this will get better soon.
