Our wonderful neighbours Marie and Christian got engaged! As soon I read about it on Facebook (a couple of hours later) Erik and I knocked on their door with a bottle of champagne.. They were so surprised!

Date night on Oyster Bar!







 Erik and I had a night out (four hours is a more correct description) alone to eat tons of seafood. It was great to be able to do so with relatively short notice, it was almost like old times when we thought of something and just did it without much preparation. We also happened to have something to celebrate that night, so it was great timing, but more about that later on...

Halloween.

Taking it easy on Sunday morning.

On Saturday we met up with Erik's parents at Haga cemetary to lit candles on the graves of their relatives. We also went to Lidingö cemetary to do the same thing. It was beautiful to see all the candles in the dark. I think that it is a nice custom to do that once a year and think of those who were before us. I often think of my grandfather, grandmother and aunt on my father's side that passed away in a horrible car crash before I was born. I wish that I had met them and I miss them. I don't need a special day for that but I know that my parents probably lit a candle at home and thought of them too.

Friday shopping.

Oliver loves music so I explored different gift
options for him by letting him play in the shop
and see what caught his eye. This was a winner..

Small, furry, moving animals were oh so interesting too. Interesting
but somewhat scary.

The Crazy Hatter..

I took Oliver with me to Barkarby to start my Christmas shopping in time. I acutally managed to check off most items from my list, although it took about four hours or so...

Candy cane baby!

I couldn't resist buying this pair of pyjamas for Oliver yesterday. I suddenly realized that he had outgrown all of them so we made a dash to the mall.
