Our first saffron biscottis just out of the oven!

They smell wonderful! It is already midnight but Oliver can't sleep so he is up, baking with me..

..and he is veeery interested!

He likes strong colours and shapes and also the sound of my voice, so even if he doesn't understand what I am reading, it entertains him. Entertain is all I do today since we are staying in all day (I have an awful cold and it is snowing like crazy). It is not an easy task because Oliver gets bored quickly. Our walks are good in the way that he gets to see many things and get the stimuli he needs for the moment. That gives me time to do other things than only play with him.

Story telling time

Play time with his favourite toy of the moment.

The giraffe has tiny antennas and knots that serve as legs and they are all very interesting to taste..

Sleeping time..

Christmas shopping.

Cat, Oliver and I spent all day yesterday shopping! It went really well, I got most of my shopping done which is a relieve. Normally it is not very easy to shop with a tiny mini Erik (the original isn't a picnic either) since he needs to be fed every other hour (the original one tires of all the people and the task as well) but yesterday it went well since there always was a place for me to nurse him. It was really cozy too, the whole world looked like a winter wonderland with all the newly fallen snow.

Outfit for the holidays.

My neighbour Marie took me to a great second hand store for kids the day before yesterday. I couldn't resist buying this cute outfit for Oliver. It will be perfect for Christmas and New Year's! Marie has a seven month old son so it was fun to have someone to talk to about everything that happens with kids, those things that are so boring for everyone else to talk about. We had lunch at my place and later Lucia-buns and coffee at her place. It is nice to have nice neighbours! :-)
