To thank Haneen and Marcus for having us over and letting us stay at their place, we invited them to a dinner at a Lebanese restaurant in Grand Hyatt Dubai. So many delicious dishes that we practicly rolled from the table..

Sunday, or How to Cure a Headache

First; take one friend.
Then; take a walk in the forest. Make the friend do silly things while walking.

Then you yourself do silly things while walking.

Then add another friend and eat some hearty food at a nice café (Ulriksdals slottscafé).

With Catrin visiting some things are for sure; there will big shopping and big partying! We spent three hours on friday and six hours on saturday looking for beautiful things to buy. Well, someone has to help the economy, right?!

We met up with Henrik, whom I haven't really spent time with since we wrote our masters exam together in Lund. It was nice to catch up!

Catrin and I started to mix drinks at home but we weren't too successful since we couldn't even open some of the bottles..

Our pre-partying was to listen to some old music, mix very strange drinks and do our make up. So much fun! Chatting about everything and nothing in the meantime of course. Always nice with a girlie-weekend!

Familjen Leijon har blivit större!

Jag och Catrin var de första som besökte familjen efter att Magnus, Melissa och Olivia kommit hem från BB i onsdags. I stället för myrra kom vi med en mycket bättre present; tjejens första skor! Naturligtvis i vitt och rosa...

Dubai 1 jan. 2009

Första dagen på året sov jag tre timmar, konstaterade att jag fortfarande var mer än lovligt snurrig när jag vaknade och gick därför ner till poolen för att sola och pimpla litervis med vatten. Två timmar senare var snurrigheten borta och jag mådde som en prinsessa! Då var det dags att väcka det övriga sällskapet, vilket inte var en helt enkel uppgift. Tur att man är envis.. En dag i Dubai fick inte passera utan att vi hade gjort något, således pressade fem individer in sig i en liten bil och åkte till Mall of Emirates. Bakom mig är den knasiga skidbacken. Bara i Dubai kommer man på tanken att bygga en skidbacke mitt i öknen!

...och förmodligen bara här säljer man überblingade fotbollsspel för fantasipengar...

New Years Eve was celebrated amongst Haneens wonderful family. There were heeps of all sorts of dishes from Jordan. Very nice alltogether!
