Mónika and Per got engaged tonight!

I just got word that they got engaged tonight in Budapest, on the bank of Donau. Way to go Per and congratulations to you both! Love you sis!

Dinner at Ingemar and Marta's place!

Frida and Mårten were also there but they left a little bit earlier than we did. Oliver was exceptionally loud and tired but refused to sleep for a while so maybe the couple without children got tired of it faster than the rest of us. The dinner and the company was so nice and I enjoyed myself even though I had to take some breaks to take care of Oliver.

April 30, 2011.

Today Erik and I celebrate that we met nine years ago. Time really flies! We had a nice breakfast then coffee and tea on our balcony. Oliver played by himself for a while but then he wanted to join our company. I then met Cat at the gym and had a fun work out. Back home, Erik got word from the police that they have found his stolen motorcycle! Unfortunately it is totally demolished but hopefully this will speed up things with the insurance company.

Not again!

Poor Erik found after a hard day at work that his new motorcycle, his beloved KTM Superduke, was stolen. I feel so sorry for him that he has to hang up his gear already when the season just got started. He was supposed to attend a course this weekend too and he was super exited about it. Last year someone broke into our garage and stole the two KTM bikes that were there, also in the beginning of the season. Why can't people respect others' property??!

Today I found Oliver playing with the kitchen drawers and realized that soon, very soon, nothing will be safe from him.

Waking up by walking..

I have had some nights with less sleep because
 of Oliver this past week and it is taking its toll.
 By morning I can barely get out of bed
so a walk really picks me up!

Me time!

While Oliver takes his mid day nap, I am relaxing and reading a thriller. Easter was great, I had time to read almost two books and I am continuing to read while I am in the habit of doing so. How I have missed it!

"Babypuckar"

Oliver has a terrible caugh and this morning he started the day by caughing so hard that he puked all over me and himself. Oh joy.. poor little one. Therefore I took him to the doctor already at nine this morning. She prescribed caughing syrup. In the pharmacy I saw these blocks and bought them instantly. They seem to work better than the books I have used to prep up Oliver's bed so that he can breathe more easily.
