Dinner for four and a half..

Nina has at most a couple weeks left before the baby comes, so it was nice to have her and Herman over for dinner when it's still just us.

Movie night with Nina

Yesterday evening I got to treat a quite prenant Nina to a little belated birthday movie. We choose something feel-goodie and weren't disappointed! Meryl Streep always delivers and somehow manages to look better and better with age.

Glitter and glamour themed gigantic work party, February 20.

The party was held at Älvsjömässan and was kicked off by a five hour long konference. After that, it was mayhem in the girls rest room where everyone was trying to get a glimpse in the mirror in their efforts to transform into gala-mode. I think we did just fine!

The surprise of the evening for me was to find that one of the entertainers that sang really well, was not a stranger! In fact, he has come a long way since he sang musicals on our way from a preparty to some nightclub in Kristianstad.. Go Dennis!

It was nice to meet Camilla again, I haven't seen her in a while since she changed offices. Rebecca is her "replacement" in our office.

Collegues night out.

After work we hurried off to have dinner together at Lilla Hasselbacken and afterwards we went to Liljevalchs hall of art and participated in a guided tour. It was too long ago I did something like that, it's like food for my soul! I need more culture in my life.

Mishap turning out fine.

Tonight Melissa and I headed off to Fryshuset to see Dave Matthews band. When we arrived it was suspiciously empty and soon found out that I had mistaken the date, the concert is in a month's time! I can't even put in words how stupid I felt. Anyhow, we turned around and went to Råsunda and Gamla Filmstaden instead. We didn't have much of a plan, except if there was a movie playing within a reasonable time, we were going to see it. Lucky for us, "Valentine's day" was the next thing on, so we jumped on it and found ourselves in a nice feel-good-movie. So after all, it wasn't a bad Monday night at all!

Started off the day with a big breakfast that Erik prepared and rounded it off with a box of chocolates he gave me. Yummy!

After a stressful day at work it's really good to wind down with some fun!

Started the Saturday off with a workout in the gym with Erik..

 

Followed it up with a lovely dinner at Frida and Mårten's place. Sunday was quiet but was rounded off by a dinner at Erik's parents'. Too bad that the weekends seem so short!

Oh how happy some flowers can make me! It is snowing like crazy outside and I fear that spring will never come, but these tulips give me hope!

"Ensemble, c'est tout" by Anna Gavalda - one of the most touching books I've read lately.

Unfortunately my french isn't good enough for me to read a book effortlessly, so I read it in swedish instead but still with much joy.
